  1. I read up on it and basically, Coffee works like medication does, but it is weaker. I suppose that it could be an added boost, but since I already take medication it wouldn’t be necessary. (This does explain why I’ve never fealt hyperactive after drinking coffee or tea)

    Bonus Tip: People who don’t have ADD or ADHD shouldn’t take ADD/ADHD medication because it will basically have the opposite effect on them. (ADD/ADHD medications are stimulants after all)

    Now I’m not sure, but the logical conclusion would be that Coffee helps people with ADD but not helpful (possibly harmful) to people without it

    And this is without taking into account all the other negative side effects of coffee.

    Take that, coffee.

    • Coffee drinkers are also less likely to have type 2 diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia and have fewer cases of certain cancers, heart rhythm problems, and strokes. Sure you can over drink and people without ADD may become more “active”, but still. You must also remember everything has it’s negatives too.
