Coffee from Tim Hortons, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Second Cup, 7 Eleven or Neighbours? Where should I go? Here are some pros and cons to debate about and decided where to go!
Timmies has speedy service, very delectable goodies to chose and is extreme conveniently located. You even can play Roll-up-the-rim part of the year! I find, however, do not think they have the best coffee of all of the places in this review. They may even have the weakest coffee of these places. I still go and drink their coffee al the time, dont get me wrong, but their coffee flavour seeems to almost have a salty ting and is rather flat. Also, their travel lids are absolutely horrid for driving in the car with. Every corner you spill if its full! >:/….
Viewed as a place of high-class shoppers, a great place to hang out, and usually found in a book store, Starbucks is a wonderful coffee shop. It’s coffee has a very bold/strong flavor and is good quality. It’s travel lids actually work. Besides the strong flavor being a bit too powerful for a selection of people, the only things Starbucks has as cons are that a) They are not too common to find and b) Their merchandise is a bit expensive.
McDonald’s is fast, has meals to grab, snacks to grab, and is semi-common to find. It also has surprisingly good coffee. I think it tastes like a possible Colombian brew (medium strength, smooth). I actually think it is good quality coffee. The con of McDonald’s coffee is THEIR LIDS ARE MURDEROUS. They leak at every angle and are almost impossible to drink out of without spilling. My point is, drink your coffee without the lid on and you’ll be fine.
With very good treats and a good store to chill in, Second Cup is a good place to be. It’s coffee isn’t an extremely smooth blend (kinda like how Guatamala or Peruvian coffee is like) and has a medium flavor. (‘Tis yum). And they have good cups! It’s a shame they are seldom like Starbucks….
You are probably scratching your head going, “Really?… Really? Pfffttt…” but I’m not joking. 7 Eleven is a convenience store that also has coffee. And decent stuff at that. It’s self-serve with many options and decent cups. It also has a constant deal they put on where coffee/hot beverages are $0.99 after 12pm. Although they are starting to become sparse, they are a good store.
Ok, I’m not going to lie. Neighbours is my favorite place for coffee. You can get it made in the kitchen area by pros or make it yourself. There are many kinds of coffee to chose from, and has so many meal/snack options. The travel lids work too! This place is overall outstanding. The fresh hot food is awesome, the beverages are awesome, the convenience part is well stalked, its attached to a gas station and its not over-kill expensive. The only con is that it isn’t found too commonly, but if you can find one, I suggest you try it.
I don’t really think this needs much of a conclusion. Have fun and chose to your desire!
